Crown Gardens Water Tower Launch

MMC: Environment and Infrastructure Services Department Cllr Tania OldJohn, will officially launch the recently built two mega litre Crown Gardens Tower which will be an addition to the already existing tower at a costs of a bit over R52 million. The current complex which consists of a 22.4 mega litre concrete reservoir as well as a 1.1 megalitre concrete water tower was commissioned in the 1950’s and for the past 50 years this complex has been feeding areas such as Southdale, Mondeor, Ormonde, Robertsham and surrounding areas.

The Launch will take place on the 28th of October 2021.
